Blaze Pizza: our top choice quick service in Disney Springs!

Let me start out by saying that we haven’t actually ever been to the Blaze Pizza at Disney Springs. How could we possibly name it the top choice? Edit September 4, 2019. We have come. We have eaten. We still recommend!

We went to Blaze in Lansing last night and were blown away by the customer service, variety, flavor, and pricing.

First off, customer service. The staff in Lansing were super helpful. They explained the process to us in detail. My sister has many allergies and they made her a huge salad, grabbing ingredients from the back that hadn’t been compromised. They did this all with a smile. Even though we were half a country away, I felt the Cast Member vibe and loved it.

There is so much variety in flavor. You can choose from regular rise, high rise (seriously recommend doing this, even with the up charge), gluten free crusts, or a salad base. Red, spicy red, alfredo, and pesto round out the sauces. Cheese! Oh my. There was parmesan, ricotta, mozzarella, feta, blue, and gorgonzola. For meat they have chicken, bacon, pepperoni, salami, Italian meatballs, turkey meatballs, sausage, and chorizo. Finally you could choose your veggies. Red peppers, onions, green/ black/ kalamata olives, mushrooms, artichokes, roasted garlic, banana peppers. Seriously… so much to choose from. And you can choose from a 1- topping, 2- topping, signature, or build your own- with unlimited toppings and personalization!

Flavor wise, if you don’t like your pizza, it is probably your own fault. These wood fired pizzas are fully customizable. You can stack them as high or low as you would like.

My high rise pizza had a base of pesto, mozzarella/ parmesan/ ricotta cheeses, bacon, crumbled turkey meatball, black/ green/ kalamata olives, roasted garlic, and artichoke hearts. The only thing that would have made it better would be another pesto drizzle on top. It was my dream come true for pizza! Crispy crust, melty cheese, tangy veggies, meaty meat.

There was so much value for our money. We may be the Mouse family, but we tend to have Moose appetites. Mr. Mouse got one pizza, I got one pizza, and the three mini mice shared one pizza for a grand total of the 3 pizzas. We left with over 1 ½ pizzas in their sweet little boxes and had those for lunch today. We still have 2 slices left!

At around $12 each for a high rise, build your own pizza, this restaurant would be a fabulous value out of pocket or on the Disney Dining Plan, especially if you share.

Check out that gorgeous Disney Springs sunset!
Mr. Mouse’s Meat Meat Meat!
My minimal meat, maximal olive and artichoke!

Have you ever been to Blaze? What do you think?
