Slow cooker peach oatmeal

For an easy breakfast, try overnight oatmeal. You will wake up to a delicious breakfast with little stress. Before you head on vacation, throw everything but the peaches and water into ziplock bags or storage containers. About an hour before bed, dump everything in the crock, set it on low, and watch some TV. Turn it to keep warm and snooze through the night, dreaming of peaches and cinnamon!

Toss in the oatmeal, salt, cinnamon, and clove. Then drain your peach juice!

Add your water and give it a good stir

3 cups oatmeal

1 tsp kosher salt

2 cans peaches in 100% juice

2 to 3 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp clove, optional

5 cups water

Brown sugar and more cinnamon to sprinkle on top

Combine oats, cinnamon, clove, and salt in crock. Strain juice off peaches and add juice to crock, along with water. Reserve peaches for serving in the morning. Set on low for one hour, then drop to ‘keep warm’ for 8 hours, or until the sweet smell makes you jump out of bed! Add peaches and stir lightly. Scoop into bowls and top with brown sugar and cinnamon.
