What is one of the best places to eat on Disney property? Let me give you a hint: it is not only my opinion, but it is also a statistical fact that has been well documented throughout the ages. If you haven’t guessed it from the title, then I really can’t help you ;). Yes, it is Boma!
I have been there four times so far, twice for their dinner buffet and twice for the breakfast buffet. YOU CAN’T GO WRONG WITH EITHER OF THEM!! Now both breakfast and dinner have tons of nice options of African and American foods, so please don’t be afraid to try what they have to offer.
For their dinner buffet, your first stop should be at the carving station, and leave the vegetation for the animals out back! Especially for the guy pictured, he looks like he could be delicious one day. Their ribs are fall off the bone tender and have a very nice tangy barbeque sauce on them. The beef roast has a crust of seasonings and is very juicy. The ham, oh the ham! This too is a nice juicy piece of meat that goes very well with the mustard sauce right there at the carving station. You can’t leave without getting their Zebra domes. They are amazing. Zebra domes are boozy, rich and creamy, fluffy moussey, deliciousness. They have regular or gluten free, which you can get upon request. Now don’t take gluten free to mean they tried to imitate the regular with a subpar crust. No, the gluten free may actually taste better. Instead of a cake like bottom there is a solid piece of beautifully rich chocolate. They also have many, many other dessert options that are very good as well. And if you have a few picky eaters, they also have chicken nuggets and fries.
On to the breakfast buffet now.
Let’s just say it’s in my top 2 places for breakfast on property (don’t forget to read my review on the other best breakfast) and it not for any of the aforementioned meats, although they do have bacon and an amazing sausage.
The banana bread pudding, which is pretty dang tasty, has a pecan praline sauce, just to the side, that you can add at your own discretion.
Their pecan rolls which were fluffy and rich, were made even more decadent when I topped them with more of that sweet buttery pecan praline sauce!
We may have even drizzled it over their waffles and pancakes, too. They also have an omelet station, as well as they will make you an egg anyway you would like it. And if that doesn’t do it for you, they have Krispy Cream doughnuts in the dessert section ,too. ;0p
If you leave this place hungry it’s your own fault, and you did a disservice to yourself for paying that much and not making them pay for it.
As always, Disney changes their prices as they please. The last prices listed for dinner are from 7/1/2018, and breakfast uggs from 5/31/2019
Breakfast buffet: Child, $16. Adult $29
Dinner Buffet: Child, $26.63. Adult $ 47.93
If you use your Disney Visa, you can receive 10% off of your bill. Don’t forget to remind your server so they can update the bill. If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, Boma is 1 Table Service Credit.
